Levenstein Learning was founded by Al and Whitney Levenstein, a wife-and-wife team of experienced educators dedicated to helping students become confident, capable, and curious learners. Together, we bring more than two decades of experience as classroom teachers, learning specialists, interventionists, instructional leaders, and curriculum designers, supporting students across a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning needs.

Both Whitney and Al hold Master's Degrees in Teacher Leadership and are New York State Certified Teachers, Orton-Gillingham trained practitioners, and multisensory-certified learning specialists in their respective fields. Al specializes in mathematics instruction, intervention, and enrichment, while Whitney specializes in literacy, reading, writing, and the humanities.

Our work is grounded in strong relationships, evidence-based practices, and a belief that every child can grow when provided with individualized support that honors their unique strengths. We partner closely with families to build academic skills, foster independence, and nurture the confidence that helps students thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
